Originally from Provence, between Toulon and Hyères, Lionel and Stéphane Belmondo have been surpassing themselves since the end of the 1980s for a jazz that updates the concepts of the greatest. “Brotherhood”, the Belmondo Quintet‘s fifth album, pays homage to the origins of the group as well as to the figures of inspiration and expression, from Maurice Ravel and Bach to Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Bill Evans and even Wayne Shorter.
