It is well-known among James Carter’s fans that Detroit-native saxophone player has a strong relationship with Gipsy Jazz, having played live with the most emblematic artists, and released an concept album some years ago. James Carter is back in November with his famous Organ Trio (Gerard Gibbs on Hammond Organ and Leonard King Jr on drums), for a brand new show which will be focused on Django Reinhardt’s songbook. No doubt the confrontation between the virtuosity of the band, and the music of the most famous Gipsy jazzman will be absolutely breathtaking!
