Joey Alexander is probably the youngest artist who is joining Loop Productions roster. Born in 2003 (!), young Indonesian pianist has already been acclaimed by such jazz legends as Herbie Hancock and Wynton Marsalis.
His debut album “My Favorite Things” has just been released, and features a collection of standards performed by Joey Alexander with a stunning maturity. The line up of the album is a genuine “all stars” band, featuring such artists as Larry Grenadier on bass and Ulysses Owens Jr on drums.
Joey Alexander will perform in Jazz in Marciac festival on August 10th with the Rags, Stride and Stomp band.
