Chris Potter is part of the generation of sax players appeared in the 90’s, like Joshua Redman, James Carter, Chris Cheek or Seamus Blake. Thanks to his nice sound on the tenor saxophone, and his very personal way of improvising, Chicago-native sax player quickly established himself as a reference. Working intensively with many other artists as a sideman (Steely Dan, Dave Holland or Pat Metheny decided to hire him in their own bands), Chris Potter is very rare on stage as a leader. Therefore, his fans will be very happy to see him at the New Morning in Paris on February 25th, leading his famous Underground Quartet!
