Pianist Brad Mehldau, who has just released a new Trio album (“Blues and Ballads”, on Nonesuch), will be in France in May. Still performing with his regular trio (Larry Grenadier on bass, Jeff Ballard on drums), he will be in Saint-Nazaire on May 17th, Cergy Pontoise on 18th, Clermont-Ferrand on 20th and Athis Mons on 21st.

On his side, Joe Lovano will do an exceptional show in Saint-Gaudens (Jazz en Comminges Festival) on May 7th. I will play with his Classic Quartet, featuring Lawrence Fields on piano, Peter Slavov on bass, and Lamy Estrefi on drums! One of the masters of saxophone…
