Marc Cary’s latest albums have not only been highly acclaimed, but also proved his ability to evolve in a large musical diversity. Acoustic trio, solo, electric jazz: pianist, Abbey Lincoln’s former sideman, is able to perform in really different styles with talent.
He will be in Europe with “Rhodes Ahead”, his most recent project. Highly inspired by the experimental jazz coming from the 70’s (like Herbie Hancock’s “Sextant” or “HeadHunters” albums), the songbook includes also really nice influences coming from world music.
