Christian Sands Trio

A gifted pianist, nominated 5 times for the Grammy Awards, Christian Sands trained with Gregory Porter and Christian McBride. At the head of an explosive and creative trio, he explores the roots of post-bop and swing, invoking them with great modernity, moving from Afro-Cuban rhythms to hip-hop rhythms.
After 2 years of residence in Shanghai, he released “Be Water”, remembering this sentence of Bruce Lee of which he is a fan: “Empty your mind. Be formless, formless, like water. … Water can sink or crash. Be water, my friend.”
