The great, immense Herbie Hancock, pianist, keyboardist and jazz composer from Chicago. He is one of the most influential jazz musicians. His compositions, which have become standards and hits for the most part, are also imbued with Soul, funk, Jazz-Rock, Hip-Hop. He was one of the pioneers of the use of scratch and synthesizer in the musical genre.

In 1963, he joined the famous Miles Davis Quintet in which he redefines the role of the rhythm section, which he formed with his partners, the young Ron Carter on bass and Tony Williams on drums. He was praised for his innovations, developing extremely complex rhythms around melody and chords.
