Kurt Elling’s reputation in the field of vocal jazz has been established for a long time. He is rightly considered as one of the most amazing male voices of our time, and masters all kinds of jazz, from uptempo songs to the most romantic ballads. He is also famous for his art of vocalese, which consists in improvising lyrics on a solo. His next album “Passion World” will be released in June 2015, and will let us listen to the “crooner” side of Kurt Elling. The Chicago native singer will perform different love songs coming from all over the world, in their native language: a genuine journey for the audience, from one country ot the other… Kurt Elling will be on tour in France during the month of March, and will present this brand new songbook!
